Writers Group. Will be explained in more detail in the other description.
Constitution and Guidelines of WOTNM:
1. Purpose:
The purpose of the group shall be;
a) to promote, foster and encourage the writing of short stories and poetry
b) to encourage improvement in the technique of writing by
i. peer discussion on writings presented at working meetings
ii. hearing visiting writers/lecturers
iii. making outside visits to lecturers, Writers Week, Theatres, etc
iv. exchanging information and sharing examples of books and writers
v. broadening members knowledge of the written word
vi. providing positive feedback and constructive criticism on work submitted
2. Method:
Writing shall be in any form - prose, free verse, poetry, creative, imaginary or from experience. All styles of written expression shall be encouraged.
3. Meetings:
The basic activity of the group shall be the working meetings, at which members shall present their work, present ideas and suggestions and discuss the presented work of others. 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month.
4. Membership:
a) shall be open to people interested in creative writing, on the agreement of present members
b) applicants for membership will not be subject to discrimination on the grounds of sex, religious belief, or ethnic background
Annual subscription fee - $5.
Donation fee for each meeting is $2 and contributes towards the group.
President, Secretary and Treasurer are elected. And discussion of a Media Rep.

Rules:
1. No profanities - no swearing, no rude comments, etc.
2. Anybody is welcomed to join the page once they are aware of the rules.
3. Negative comments towards a person's personal work will not be tolerated.
4. ADMIN will be allowed to remove a person not abiding by the rules, or for any reason deemable to the Admin.
